The last review mentioned how the staff was busy following the covid rules, but today, as I went in two cashiers were properly masked, but at least five workers were without proper protection and after confronting one of the workers, she said that it had been proven that masks don't work and she didn't want to have a discussion about. As this worker is still a teenager, I can imagine that she is not worried about herself, but obviously couldn't care less about the law or those people at risk. I imagine that this Lidl is trusting information of Twitter influencers, rather than the researchers and their recommendations.
Aside from the five workers (and this isn't the first time - the always seem to wear their 'masks' only to cover their chins, except for one guy, who does cover his mouth with it, but not his nose) who don't care about those at risk and don't mind risking other people's health for their comfort, there were also at least two customers completely without protection. The workers have masks ready, in case there is an inspection, and they can don them quickly if anyone comes to check and/or shut down the store.
As much as I like Lidl, I can only recommend that you avoid this particular location until the coronavirus is under control. Save yourself and avoid the blatant refusal to follow the law of the land. If they don't care about following this law, it makes you wonder what other laws they are breaking, because of (in-)convenience.
